I couldn't help but notice that two Republicans quoted praised those skipped for reasons that the Republicans liked (the two Democratic Party legislators who skipped the hearing a bill that would have legalized same sex marriage) but criticized those who skipped for reasons the Republicans did not like. Ah, well - consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, I suppose.
