MC finds some fine print that is actually rather fine:
What follows [in Comments - ed.] is the license agreement for Virgin Digital's Red Pass Service (to download music). Assuming that their legal department at least OK'd, if not actually wrote this thing, it had to be that lawyer's best day on the job for a while. Gawd, I wish I could do stuff like this.
Warning - The first paragraph is boring. The rest is worth reading.
Ed. Note - Like most EULAs the agreement is a mile long, but it is definitely worth disseminating. So I decided to put it in the Comments section where it would take up less space and not lead JJV to think that I had cluttered up the blog just to push his rantings far out of sight. Come to think of it, that's not a bad idea...
The text has such a Douglas Adams-like quality to it that it is best to imagine it being read by the Heart of Gold's onboard computer or perhaps the voice of the Hitchhiker's Guide itself.
