Once again the usual and unusual demands of life have interfered with my ability to post. As always, JJV leapt bravely into the breach and stuffed it full of, um, stuff. (Speaking of breaches, wonder where the expression "forelorn hope" comes from? Looky here.)
My only complaint is that his Suez post left off the part where the seas turn to lemonade. Other than that, spot on.
