Pirates v. Ninja? No, Pirates v. Communists!

Ok, its really pirates versus everybody. But if they end up sinking this baby or getting the guns away from Russian clients this will be a big deal. Also, if it is not the U.S. who boards they better fight to the death, can you imagine what Putin does to pirates, given what he does to journalists?

I prefer the Johnny Depp/Disney version, but that's just me, though I have a neighbor who is awfully fond of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

When I saw the heading, I thought for sure that JJV was going to do some follow-up to Joe McCain (John's brother) referring to Alexandria and Arlington as "communist country" today at a campaign stop in Loudon County. Usually Republicans refer to those who don't go for their brand of statism as "socialist," so kudos to Joe for varying the tune.

However, I don't think it's going to help much in NoVa, which brother Jack needs to keep from going Indigo on Nov. 4.

Speaking of the more famous brother, he lives in Arlington and his campaign headquarters are there. Hmmm, maybe Joe was trying to subtly warn us about a Manchurian candidate ...

Joe McCain, the real straight talker. The Bolshevism is spreading. Why oh why can't you lefties move back to Maryland, or the District or Massachusetts? You can bask in the high taxes, smoke free bars, same-sex marriage environment and leave us the heck alone.

Sic semper tyrannis, JJV?

Wow, it just occurred to me that JJV kind of rhymes with Robert E. Lee. Weird.

Sorry, JJV, we got our relocation orders directly from Dr. Dean. He also got us a great rate on a 30-year fixed, and threw in a handy booklet of coupons for local merchants. We were "Sold!"

JJV,

stop Dissing maryland.

we beat out VA in horse tracks 5:1 and are much closer to legalized playing of slot machines!

also, in MD, anyone can open an MRI center for $$$, no questions asked. VA requires a pesky Certificate of Need.

Virginia, on the other hand, has more NASCAR action. Must be all the paved roads.
