Strange, you don't look Obamaconish?

Obama, adding more grist to the mill of those who argue he was actually the conservative's manchurian candidate dined with David Brooks and William Kristol tonight at George Will's house. Kristol, especially, is viewed by the type of people Dave and CRH link to over there on the right of your screen, as a Likudnik Mossad agent with strange mind powers over gentiles that causes them to change American foreign policy to feed his blood lust.

Brooks on the other hand is mistrusted by the Right but serves as a simulcrum of one at the NYT. Of course like Safire he is pro-abortion (and for redefining marriage to include same sex arrangements), otherwise you don't get an op-ed spot at the NYT. Still, I've got his books on my shelves which I can't say for Maureen Dowd so I suppose he's one of "ours."

If we knock out Iran's nukes in the next year, mark this day down as the start of something big!

I can't believe you passed on "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" as a title.

Combined with the generally accurate, if florid, description of Kristol from the left (via JJV) is the insight that he bats approximately .000 in terms of being right about anything, which makes him the George Costanza of conservative legacy hires.

Is Kristol pro-abortion and pro-same sex? Just curious.

I think Obama is just practicing the age old axiom: Keep your friends close & your enemies closer. Both in regards to his cabinet choices & dinner meetings.
