I loved this heading from commentary so I link to it in the title. In point of fact I am very pleased that the Obama administration is taking away all freedom of action of companies involved in the bailout. Goldman Sachs is already trying to raise funds to get out of it. They are so mobbed up with the administration it will likely graciously allow them to pay the money back.
The question is, does the Obama administration now feel powerful enough to seize and direct companies it has not bought with the public fisc?
Lando didn't get any money from the Empire but he eventually had to give up the gas mines of Besbin anyway.
Remember how that worked out. The Empire would have been better off leaving him alone.
