And I Felt a Sense of Accomplishment After Edging My Lawn...

Via Lawyers, Guns and Money comes word of the completion of a Lego model of the Japanese battleship Yamato.

The project took over six years to complete; by contrast, the actual ship was built in just over four, although with slightly more labor involved.

Wow.

And it didn't even take six hours to do it. You SHOULD be proud, Dave. While the Lego battleship is undeniably impressive, it performs no useful function, whereas as nicely edged lawn... priceless.

So, how's that layout coming? ; )

Wow, I had a 6-year-old glued to that video. It would just fit in our living room (if we didn't mind keeping the doors closed).

This is officially the Comments Thread of Sixes.

The edging actually took a while as it had not been done for some time (i.e. since someone else did it) and may have totalled near six hours over two days.

As for the layout, most of the lumber is cut and awaits construction. Where DID those Basement Gnomes go?!
