It strikes me as odd but it is now 70 years since Churchill gave his speach on the fall of France and steeled Britain for its "Finest Hour." When I first began "real jobs" in the early 80's there were still a lot of guys around who'd served in the War, including one guy who'd been in the Army Air Corp as early 1939. At that time WW II did not seem that long ago. Now this speach is as far away as pre-W.W.I America was then.
Still something else though.
