Mickey Gilly famously sang that "the girls all get prettier at closing time, they all begin to look like movie stars, when the change starts taking place, it puts a glow on every face, of the fallen angels of the backstreet bars."
Now as the link shows it is scientifically proven why. Beer. The effects of beer on visual perception apparently needed long study by English scientists. I guess cancer has been cured without my knowing it, and science can turn its inquiry elsewhere.
