Sturgis, We Have a Problem

From his new perch somewhere in the American Midwest (I'll leave it to him to provide details, or not) JWT sends word of a well-orchestrated lobbying campaign to secure a Darwin Award, although points might be deducted for plagiarism of Evel Knievel.

Admittedly, the phrases "never before tested" and "no guidance system" are themselves innocuous enough, provided we are discussing something like a paper airplane or toaster oven*. Put them in the context of a steam-powered human-carrying rocket, though, and all I can think is "What could go wrong?"

*DISCLAIMER: TOASTER OVENS DO NOT FLY. Toasters, maybe.
