The Canons of Statutory Construction are cheat sheets for judges to determine what a statute means. Critics say they are contradictory and can be used to create any meaning. Nonetheless, it is a rare judge who does not refer to them. I am apparently the "Plain Meaning Rule."

Apparently I am also the "Rule of Lenity." Maybe being willing to argue that "puke" doesn't count as "litter" is not being soft on crime, maybe its being a strict constructionist. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
JJV probably scored "Rule of Lenity" too but was too embarrassed to admit it. Or maybe the programmer got tired and said, "Screw it, everyone gets lenity," then threw up.
I also turned out to be the Plain Meaning Rule, but I retook the quiz and learned that the difference between that result and Expressio Unius rests in how severely you lay into the pizza delivery guy.
