This is the last day to post this year. It ends with the death of Saddam Hussein at the end of a rope. I think the current problems of Iraq are not appreciably improved by his death but they are slightly improved and that is something. Moreover, as has been said before it is not enough that justice be done, but that it be seen to be done, for people to have hope.
