Now, the appropriately-named Yahoo News reports the death of Anna Nicole Smith.
Anyone else see the hand of the Powers That Be (take your pick) in these seemingly unrelated events? Sure keeps Iraq, Scooter Libby et al. out of the news cycle, doesn't it?
I'm just sayin'. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must get the door. Odd, at this hour of the night.
Update 2/9/2007: Zsa Zsa Gabor has been thrown into the mix. Now who doubts my theory?!

Only if Paris Hilton died while flashing during a space walk and chasing after an astronaut boy friend stolen by Lilo would this be a better week for the New York Post.
Anna Nicole Smiths baby is of uncertain parentage and is 5 months old. More strikes against him than all of the Cubs all season.
