Political unity among the writers (and readers)1 of this blog will never happen, but I believe Obama has found the issue that will rally all but the most partisan among us.

How typical of the Republicans. Regulate on social issues, while giving big business unfettered rein under the rubric of "free markets." A pox on McCain and his house.

John McCain will not veto beer. He will veto beer taxes. The guy married that attractive blonde heiress of a beer fortune. Obama will not get to his right on this vital issue.
Obviously he misspoke. I assume he meant to say "white wine."
