JCC's comment to this fine post at 10:41 AM is our 1000th overall! We extend a laurel wreath and hearty handshake to a long-time observer of this site in recognition of the occasion. I am especially pleased that comment #1000 provided an opportunity to veer completely off-topic to engage in a spirited and congenial discussion of the Battle of Waterloo.
And while I am veering, my apologies for the nonexistent posting of late. We are in the midst of a frenetic few weeks of activity as we sell our condo and prepare to move across the Potomac. I may be able to put some stuff up over the weekend but otherwise things may have to wait until we are ensconced in Arlington.
