A Moment of Silence

Please, for I have suffered a tragic loss. I have no urge to make this a maudlin moment, but the end of 15 years of good service should not go unremarked.

I was relieved to find out that when a single tube of metal forming one side of a durable bicycle frame suddenly becomes two unconnected tubes of metal, in transit, this does not necessarily cause the bicycle to fold in upon itself and impale the rider. It does, though, become unrideable.

On the bright side, I can now look forward to finding myself a shiny new toy.

I suspect you did not observe a moment of silence at the time.

Also, that does not sound like a "durable" frame to me.

Two words: duct tape.

Get a Unicycle - less upkeep.

Truly sad. The way of all flesh so to speak. BTW perhaps you can now get up to my place and go over our bikes with me as I am concerned of just this sort of thing happening should I attempt to ride them.

As always, your friends are there for you. This comments thread is reading like a James Taylor song.
