With Boston down 3-1 in the ALCS, this seems a bit like overkill, but perhaps it is indeed lights out time. However, I am sure that is what JJV and CRH thought in 2004. My friends, the Red Sox have the Prissy Rays* right where they want them!
JJV, of course, would credit the long arm of Chavez. "Spurn my free heating oil, will you?!"
*So called, by me just now, because of the name change from Devil Rays as a result of pressure from religious groups.

I think that taking the Devil out of the rays was a mistake. However, as we all know Lucifer means Light Bringer. If the Rays dispel the darkness of a Boston pennant I will rethink my views on matters eschatory and pescatory.
