Longtime readers of this blog are aware of our major focus this time of year: rutabagas! However, I was unavailable to perform the usual live rutablogging duties this afternoon as Laura prepared them for an early Thanksgiving meal at our friends' house. (One of them will be traveling over the holiday, hence the festive "Thanksgiving in November"* theme.)
While there are no pictures, the end result was delicious as always and I am now on heightened alert for the Official Thanksgiving Rutablogging a little over two weeks from today.
