Mancold!

I am spending a second day in the grip of the dreaded Mancold:

To be fair I don't think I picked it up from anyone except possibly Bryan; fortunately everyone else in the house feels fine.

Fellow blogger J took time out from stimulating packages to send me this report about the proper (if any) way to blow one's nose. Turns out the truckers were on to something.

Please leave your favorite home remedies in comments.

Chicken soup. It's not just for colds anymore. Stop drinking coffee. (It dehydrates you.) Do drink lots of non-caffeinated fluids, though if you drink juice, water it down. Wash or sanitize your hands more often than Lady Macbeth -- and have Laura or the kids wash anything you have recently coughed, sneezed, or blown on. Make sure to complain often and make everyone feel guilty for not waiting on you hand and foot. And whatever you do, don't blow your nose! (Aren't you glad you asked?)

Hope you feel better soon. I know the boys are counting on you for game night!

P.S. Poor little bunny.

Maybe you need Mannix to track down the source of your Mancold.

Margaritas & fajitas and the warm thoughts of the upcoming Festivus. Oh yeah, and what J. said.

Feel better!
