A Glamour Don't on the Links...

They say horizontal stripes can make you look fat. Not sure what fashion statement the salmon/pink plaid pants are making on behalf of John Daly.

What are you talking about, EMM?! I think the outfit is BRILLIANT. Literally. ; ) At least he's color coordinated -- and his outfit goes very nicely with the manicured green. I may be a bit biased here, though, as my late father, who was color confused, was known and beloved for his brightly/odd-colored golfing attire. Indeed, we had him cremated in his favorite fuchsia golfing sweater. So you leave John Daly alone!

This is what happens when you dress yourself while drunk.

I could see JWT giving this color coordination a try. Anything to help his game.

That anonymous comment would wound my comments if it didn't bear a germ of truth. I assume that comment came from the all-knowing JWE. I have mechanical issues that span from my grip to my follow through. It doesn't help that I have poor depth perception and, for games with JWE and Homer, I can't hold my hold my liquor. My game is admittedly a mess.

However, I have to say in my defense that the commenter is wrong. I'm not yet JWC, who is always perfectly dressed, coifed, and equipped for golf but has problems mechanically that equal my own. Sure, I can correct EMM by noting that John Daly is wearing argyle, not plaid, but I can't dress the part. No, evil commenter, I'm not yet JWC.

I was too overwhelmed by the color to notice the pattern.

The boys of the Spankers Cup should wear snazzy argyle outfits. Maybe the loser should have to wear a pair of pants like Mr. Daly as opposed to having to play w/ his pants around his ankles.

JWT, I too am very challenged w/ golf. Am going on Monday w/ my boss - will try to channel JWE.

Be the ball nananananaanananana.

Way too many JWs...

So EMM, what are you going to wear to play golf on Monday?
