LHC Doomsaying vs Daily Show; hmmm, who might win that one?
This Bad Astronomy post has a great segment from The Daily Show examining some of the apocalyptic talk surrounding the startup of the Large Hadron Collider, about which my blogging colleague J expressed repeated concern. I think we can all stand down now.

Sure, Dave, sure. And when we're all being sucked down, molecule by molecule, into the maw of the black hole created by the Large Hadron Collider, no one will give a flying f&*k about The Daily Show or those know-it-all particle physicists.
