Don't Electrocute the Naked Guy!

This was the sort of thing you thought everybody knew by now but apparently grandmothers have ceased telling grandchildren no one takes naked people seriously. The last line is why I posted this as all I could think is "what is this a naked Milgram experiment?"

'In one experiment, people viewing male subjects with their shirts off were less inclined to give those subjects uncomfortable electric shocks than when the men had their shirts on.'

Who did these guys look like shirtless? Fabio or Michael Moore? And what does the English scientist do? "Fancy electrocuting this naked tosser?" "No.? How 'bout this fellow with a shirt? Oh, come now, surely you'll zap a man with THAT cardigan?"
