Fixed Bayonets and Fixed Street Signs

I seem to be on a poaching tear, as JJV sent me this earlier today. Somehow he got distracted by redheads so here I am.

A retired Scottish soldier has taken it upon himself to improve the punctuation of street signs in his town.

Good thing he doesn't live in Hawaii Hawai'i; he would go nuts. Mmm, macadamia nuts.

The gentleman in question is not necessarily a twit, however. For comparison:

Feral and Not Sterile

I've gotten to the bottom of my dismembered bird mystery. When we last visited this issue, you may recall that I had my suspicions about the guilty party. This weekend brought concrete answers, as the whole story seems to have unfolded. In a surveillance coup not seen since the Erin Andrews affair, including the very low quality video, I present a still image of the presumed culprit and her adorable offspring:

I think I can save the two juveniles, whom I estimate to be about 6 weeks old.
