I love the fact that some commentators online have determined that Jeff's ad closely resembles a Johnnie Walker ad. Brilliant!
I'll take your word for it that Jeff Barth is a good, smart guy, but the ad did nothing for me, except get me nervous that Barth was going to have a heart attack and drop dead as soon as the camera was turned off. (Did you hear him wheezing?)
That said, I did like the placement of the horse -- and this YouTube comment: "I don't always run for Congress, but when I do...I bring props."
Btw, here's a link to the Johnnie Walker ad, which is brilliant. (Love the subtitles. And the actor is the guy who plays Rumpelstiltskin on Once Upon a Time.) I think Barth could have benefited from a piper and some Scotch.
Speaking of which, I could use a shot. (Cue rubber duck)
