What topic is an honored P4500 tradition and worthy enough to to follow rutabagas? I know a few including; beer, gaming, grocery bagging and crustaceans stuffed in pants. But today, I saw this article on an annual Romney, West Virginia tradition and felt obligated to share. It has been awhile since we've talked squirrel, please "enjoy" this "tasty" tidbit from the washingtonpost.com

I saw that and was waiting for JWT to tree it, in a manner of speaking.
Thanks for being bright-eyed and bushy-tailed enough to post it!
In the Adorondack house that the slatterys, CRH and I sometimes rent there is a vast collection of hunting books from the 50's to 70's. According to one of these tomes at least in 1976 squirrel meat was the most eaten in pounds of any game meat, including dear. I was surprised. That is a lot of squirrel.
