The Spare Time is Strong in This One

Wow. Just wow.

Other possible post titles:

"These Aren't the Superdelegates You're Looking For"

"She Has Received More Votes, From a Certain Point of View"

"Mark Penn's office. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious."

I know our commenters can do better than that.

In the meantime, enjoy this:

Is this supposed to be some kind of postmodern existential post, cause all I see is lots of white space. Am I missing something or did the pictures just not upload?

You should see two YouTube links. A couple of hours ago I could not see them either but now I can. There may have been an issue between YouTube and Blogger.

You have inspired me to explain my recent hiatus as an experiment in existential blogging. If Dave doesn't blog but no one reads the blog, has he blogged or not?

I do not have the technological wherewithal to post that Obama clip but it is fantastic. There are three youtubes from the Bush election that I loved. The first was John Edwards getting his hair in place to the tune of Rawhide. The next was one from an outfit with Bush's and Kerry singing in cartoon. The last was chased off the internet but was a vignette of Bush to the Johnny Cash song "When the Man Comes around"

Now there are almost too many to count. Barocky and this are outstanding.

How about:

"Hillary, I should have recognized your foul stench when I came aboard."

Liberal to Barack: "I love you."
Barack "I know."

"Achmedenijad, my name is Barack Obama and I'm here to rescue you."

Barack to Republicans and Independents who crossed over:
"That wasn't our deal."
"I have altered the deal pray I don't alter it further."

Hillary to Obama-"Release the Presidential Nomination or be destroyed."

By John McCain(The Last Jedi Knight)

"I knew your father in the clone wars."

"Stay on Target."

to Obama "Don't get cocky kid."

"I may be old but I did the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs."

"You can not kill me, strike me down and I will only become more powerful."

Republicans to McCain:

"Help, me Obi Wan you are our only hope!"

And by Bill Clinton:

"Once you've done a Sith Lord you never go back."

"Hey baby, Wanna exchange miticholorians?"

Wow. And to think in my spare time I made an almond cake (from scratch!) with a raspberry demi-glaze. Clearly, I do not have my priorities straight, though the cake was delicious.

As for the second clip, Bill Murray as Nick Rails (or the lounge guy) singing "Star Wars" is a classic, though I think I prefer Bill Murray SNL version. But still, thanks for the memories.
