Astute observer MCC was first to point out this highly appropriate XKCD to me. I must say I grudgingly agree to Rule #1 but agree with the sentiments expressed.
I hasten to note, however, that the extraordinarily skilled proprietor of this site (as well as several other related sites) has indeed placed a working scale layout on not only an N scale layout; he then surpassed himself by building an N scale layout in Z scale.
Not surprisingly, XKCD has made Mr. Smith start looking for surveillance cameras.
For my part, I will content myself with sticking to one scale and seeing what happens. With any luck there will be another layout update this weekend.
